About
MEG Technical Services (MTS)
MTS, a division of MEG Consulting Ltd., was
created to offer geotechnical laboratory services
and high quality data required for
engineering analyses for onshore and offshore
infrastructure and oil and gas developments.
The
state-of-the-art equipment facilitates the performance of high quality static
and dynamic/cyclic testing and automated data
capture. A high-capacity cyclic direct simple shear apparatus,
two high
pressure resonant columns and one high pressure
dynamic triaxal device allow us to
provide dynamic testing services to clients
requiring the dynamic characterization on
samples recovered at depths of up to about 150m.
Areas of
Expertise
MTS has significant
expertise in areas of geotechnical testing related
to the fields of onshore and offshore
geotechnical engineering, engineering geology and
earthquake engineering. MTS has worked in
partnership with academia to solve challenging
soil behavior problems through development of new
testing approaches, technology and research activities.
Our aim is to develop
close relationships with both clients and partners
so that testing services can be optimized and cost-effective. MTS has participated in various
international projects in countries such as
Mexico, Russia and Venezuela.
